Passionate Geneticist Committed to Responsible  Innovation

Why Work With Me?

I'm a dedicated scientist with a strong foundation in molecular biology and genetic engineering, I thrive at the intersection of science and technology. My mission is to leverage cutting-edge research and innovative solutions to address some of the most pressing challenges in healthcare and agriculture.

About Me

I'm a Max Planck Research School Alumna with a PhD degree in Genetics from University of Cologne, Germany and over 15 years of hands-on experience in both academic teaching  and research settings, I have developed a robust skill set that includes:

Molecular Cloning: Expertise in genetic manipulation techniques using classic recombinant DNA techniques and metagenomics.
Plant biotechnology: Proficient in maintaining and manipulating various plant species  for research purposes.
Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills using bioinformatics tools to interpret complex biological data.

My Research Focus

As a Board Director of the National Biosafety Authority of Zambia, I am particularly passionate about developing sustainable agricultural practices using cutting-edge plant biotechnology and advancing next-gen medicine.
As a curious scientist, I am also fascinated by the investigation of life beyond Earth. My recent projects include:

Investigating the possible cosmic origins of Lake Bangweulu, Zambia, funded by The National Geographic Society.
This project collected new evidence through interdisciplinary collaboration to prove the origin of Lake Bangweulu in Zambia that had been postulated to be the result of a historical meteroic impact.

Biotechnology of Black Mountain slag and assessment of related potentially harmful elements (PHEs) exposure to Kitwe community, funded by the World Bank through Africa Centres of Excellence Project II.
This project is currently searching for  extremozymes from Kitwe's Black Mountain, a legacy copper mining slag dump site in Zambia.

Why Work With Me?

I bring not only technical expertise but also a collaborative spirit and a commitment to continuous learning. I believe that the best solutions come from teamwork and open communication. By partnering with me, you can expect:
